BTC Puzzles Challenge

A cross-platform research tool for the 2015 Bitcoin puzzle transactions — the
160 addresses funded by an anonymous donor with keys hidden in ranges of
known size. The most complete, most honest puzzle-hunting toolkit — built with
Flutter, so iOS is only the beginning: Android, macOS, Windows, Linux and a web
version all share the same codebase.

Everything in one app

  • Live Board — all 160 puzzles with full on-chain data: balances,
transactions, exposed public keys, solved status
  • Solved archive — the 83 cracked puzzles in forensic detail:
private keys, WIFs (compressed & uncompressed), public keys, addresses and their
on-chain signatures, one tap to copy any of it
  • Pollard-kangaroo engine — a genuine square-root discrete-log
search on public-key-exposed puzzles, over a sub-range you define, with real measured
speed — not blind random guessing
  • Template mode — test structured key candidates with your own
    patterns
  • Offline converter — HEX ↔ WIF ↔ public key ↔ address,
    fully on-device
  • Interactive statistics — key-position clustering of the
documented solves and solved-WIF character DNA, measured vs theory
  • Vault — your found keys, kept locally, with a step-by-step
    safe-sweep guide
  • Honest odds — real speeds and real probabilities, always

Why it stands apart

Real mathematics, not a slot machine.
Other puzzle apps only generate random keys and hope. BTC Puzzles Challenge implements
the actual attack the community uses on exposed public keys — Pollard’s kangaroo —
and hands you the steering wheel: your range, your speed, your data.
A research archive, not just a game.
Every solved puzzle is documented with its full cryptographic evidence, so you study
how the hunt was really won — and verify everything yourself, on-chain.
Private by design.
No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
Your keys never leave your device.
